Bunnies for Teachers

I made this bunny for Question Boy's kindergarten teacher.  I owe her so much that I was happy to make her a bunny.  She once said flamingoes were her favorite animals and that she loved pink.  Hopefully that's true because I knit her a Flamingo Bunny out of pink Cascade Quatro.

Before I finished Famingo my kids started arguing over who has/had the better kindergarten teacher.  I quickly realized I needed to knit a bunny for Purple Girl's kindergarten teacher or there would be hell to pay.  I asked the teacher what her favorite color was and she said "apple green".  I knit her Apple Bunny out of Lamb's Pride Lime Sorbet.
These bunnies got tails made from a mix of their yarn and a white with sparkles from Red Heart.
And here's all five of the bunnies together.

Sunflower

This is Sunflower bunny.  She's for my SIL and meant to match a cat I knit for her a year or so again.  I didn't have enough yarn to make a bunny out of the same yarn so I just made the tail out of the same yarn.

The orange is Lamb's Pride and the yellow is Cascade 220 superwash.  The tail was leftover Cascade 220 superwash that I dyed with koolaid.

Number 2

Not a Christmas Bunny.  Knit from Abi Grasso Christmas Stripes held double.  I love the little eye brow and I had so much fun with the tail.  Made for my Question Boy.

The First Bunny

The bunny that started it all.  Knit from the last of my kool-aid dyed yarn.  Knit for my Purple Girl.
